I recently reformatted my system partition and did a manual deletion of the postgresql service by doing the "sc delete" command and removing the folders, however it is still listed under Services as "PostgreSQL Database Server 8.3" and when attempting to start says "Could not start the PostgreSQL Database Server 8.3 service on Local Computer. Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure."
So then I installed PSQL again and it's running as "postgresql-8.3" under Services, starts and stops fine, but PT3 says it can not find a database to connect to.
I'm thinking it has something to do with a botched uninstallation of the previous database? Any ideas?
