Missing imported hands on General tab

Hi,

Since a few days I've been noticing that the total number of hands on the General tab differentiates from the Hands tab. And thus the money won.

From 01/01/2009 till 09/22/2009 I'm 407 hands short on the General tab.

On 09/17/2009 there's no difference between the 2 tabs.
On 09/18/2009 I'm missing 85 hands on the Hands tab.
On 09/19/2009 I'm missing 85 hands on the General tab.
On 09/20/2009 I'm missing 230 hands on the General tab.
On 09/21/2009 I'm missing 176 hands on the General tab.
And today on 09/22/2009 there's again no difference between the 2 tabs. Although the day isn't over yet.

Seems like all missing hands but 1 are accounted for on these specific data.

How can I solve this?

I'm using PT3 version 3.00 build 5.2 on a Win XP pc.

Had you been importing hands in the meantime? If you didn't import hands before but did today that would make sense. Also, you need to click the Refresh button after you finish importing hands in order for PT3 to get new data; if you imported the data but didn't refresh and just restarted PT3 today that would explain this as well.

Yeah I know about the refresh button Thats not it. I always auto-import hands when I'm playing.

Any thoughts?

It could also be related to a known issue with certain reports - try running a cache update through housekeeping and see if that fixes things for you.

You can also try using a filter which would disable the cache (for example, since 1/1/09) and that should get around the problem as well.

Both didn't work.

I purged the hands from 09/18/2009 till today and re-imported them. Now I'm missing 6652 hands on the General tab. Even when filtered since 09/01/2009, 01/01/2009 or no filter at all.

Which report are you referring to on the General tab?
There is a known problem with the number of hands shown in the Player Statistics report, which appears to be to do with the way the cache is used.
If you add a filter for all the sites you play (so that nothing is actually filtered out) do the hand counts match across all reports?

I'm referring to the Player Summery report on the General Tab. Filtering for all the sites I play on doesn't help. Still 6652 hands missing.

Try creating a new database and import the hands to that.

If you still see the error please compress the files you exported and attach them to a Support ticket so that we can try it for ourselves.

Ok I imported the hands in a new database. This didn't go well either. The Import Statistics says I imported 12.018 hands with 6578 duplicates.

So I go to settings to set my screenname and add my Aliases. But now I can't find my Party alias in the list and get an error in the Aliases window. Eventually I see 4326 hands on the General tab and 9989 hands on the Hands tab.
