PT3 slows down complete system

Postby sting98 » Sun Jan 03, 2010 10:08 am

since about 3 weeks, i have a problem while multi tabeling on party poker. i normaly play 12 to 18 tables and when i start the auto import and the hud pops on the tables, the system slows down. but not all the time, only for about 30 to 60 seconds, then it runs normal and then slow again. all other apps slow down too, browser, poker client etc. the problmes stay after housekeeping and also with a new database. i am running win7 rc 7100, actual pt3 and postgres 8.3.

What version of PT3 are you using? (It says along the top; likely Build 5.2 or Beta 30.1.) When was the last time you performed housekeeping?

If you are still using your old database in the HUD Options then it will still be being used. Once you've done full housekeeping on it it should perform OK, though, and you won't need to rebuild the cache on it again unless you add custom stats.

There are some further performance improvements in Beta 30.1 (over Build 5.2) but there were a lot of big changes for this version and there are some issues too so you may want to wait for the next stable update.

Actually, Beta 29.1 is stable and has most of the performance improvements, so try that.

If you're still having trouble after that please report your problem.
