every tourney session is showing under different ID

Postby cmbrm » Wed Feb 03, 2010 9:16 pm

I was using 30.3 beta 1 on OS X the past two weeks. I converted my PT2 database (which I run on a linux box).

My problem is even though I am playing under the same PS and FTP IDs, PT3 is logging stats under a different ID and does not seem to be correlating them.
So in my player list on the left I see my PS and FTP IDs five different times with a handful of tournaments under each.

Any ideas? I just installed beta 3 but did not see any reference to this one in the release notes or forums...

THANKS

This is probably due to subtly different player names - maybe slightly different characters in the names? Do you have any non-English characters in your names?

Was your PT2 database a postgres or access database? (I assume it's postgres if it was on linux).
Did you "convert" it or did you export the hand histories and import those to PT3?

There are no punctuation marks or anything in my sns they are standard we ASCII. I ran the upgrade by installing pt3 on winxp and running the upgrade process did not impexp. Now I play on mac. Hud worked fine and was finding old player stats fwiw

That's very odd; could you please report this problem so that we can investigate further? Thanks.
