HUD problems with Lock (no problems with other Merge sites)

I used a 60-day promotional copy of PT3 with Carbon (Merge) with no serious issues.

My promo copy expired and I registered for the full version. At the same time, I opened a Lock account (also Merge).

Now, the HUD only comes up only sporadically, with no rhyme or reason of whether it functions or not. Sometimes I get the "HUD does not function in grid mode" when I never enable grid mode.

I read in a mod's response to a similar Merge problem where he/she asked if the person had a lot of duplicates. In this session, I have 10 hands and 12 duplicates.

Any suggestions?
