"unable to connect to this database"

hi i have just downloaded the pt3 software started my 60 day free trial
i loaded poker tracker 3 up from my desktop
then prompted by the screen which says configure postreSQL i pressed connect and it said
"unable to connect to this database.please check the configuration"
any help please???

If you have tried another tracker try the password "postgrespass" instead.

If that doesn't work, you can remove the need for PostgreSQL passwords: How To: Remove PostgreSQL Password

same issue as above. I get the error message unalbe to connect to this database. please check configuartion

my Data base was getting to large, well the files in the 8.4 Folder were, so i wanted to move my Data base and my SQL files to an external hard drive. I backed up my data bases( only Pt3 databases) and then i uninstalled Pt3 and what it think was all my SQL software and res installed.

now i have this erroe above when trying to run Pt3

Please check to make sure that PostgreSQL is installed on your machine.

mm it seemed as those it handnt instaled properly as i couldnt find it in Add/remove to remove the installation i had done, anyway i just installed verison 9 and it was all good
