Need Help for Custom Report using months & weeks (Group by)

Hello,

I'm a beginner on PT3.

I 'm starting to create the personal reports I need.

I would like to create personal reports displaying totals and average earnings, BB/100, bb/hour, €/hour, using group by the month, like January 2012, Feb 2012, March 2012, etc., on line for one month . ...

And also I need these reports with group by the week, one line for one week, as 2012 Week01, 2012 Week02, 2012 Week03, etc.. ...

I would also derive the corresponding graphics.

I have some knowledge in SQL, but none about the variables and stats in PT3.
I am completely disappointed, and lost on pt3.

Could you help me please?

There's a grouping by week stat available in the repository - it's called Weekly Breakdown, and was uploaded by me. You'll need to convert it to tournaments but that is a lot easier than building it from scratch

I've copy/paste the statistic from tournament to Cash Game sessions summary. I've met some difficulties because I see later that I had to create the column date_played_week in holdem_table_session_summary. Now it's ok.

An other trouble because I did not check the Group by parameter.

But great to have a solid base to do this, for the newbie I am on PT3. Thanks.

Just a question. Does this statistic consider the day starts parameter? This parameter is on 04AM for me. Will the reports take the hands past midnight of the current day? Does the break of Sunday (end of week) be at Monday 04AM (my real end of week), and not at Sunday midnight?

It should take the my day starts at value into account, but it's been quite a while since I looked at the stat so I'm not 100% certain to be completely honest.

Right now, I'm in trouble: about the hours cumuls in the new report by week. It add all tables seconds, not just the seconds of the sessions.

The seconds of all tables must not be added if the tables are played in the same session. Unfortunately, if I play 1 hour with 10 simultaneous tables, the report says I have played 10 hours! Not so easy for the newbie that I am with PT3!

That is expected behavior - in PT4 we have eliminated the "Sessions" stat type so all we have are player and hand stats - and player stats are summed over all hands you've played. This grouping stat groups just based on the time the hands were played - it can't tell whether there is session overlap. Unfortunately, due to the complexity behind grouping by time, I'm not sure there's a simple stat we can add that will fix that particular piece of behavior.

In the sessions tab of cash game, set on Sessions By Time, PT3 does the job well: I've played 16 tables simultaneous from 08:53PM to 01:05AM and it says 253 minutes (4.22hours), not 253 x16 minutes... The second row is OK, the third row also... And the total at the feet of the report is good also: 6.5 hours is ok. PT3 has not done the error to add 16x4.22hours + 6x1.50hours + 5x0.78 hours.

So, it seems to be possible, isn't it? What could be the way?



PS: what does the MTRatio mean?

These reports are built very differently in PT3 and PT4. I'll make a note to look into what we can do here but I can't guarantee that I'll find a way to make this work as you want.

It is true that to know the real playing time compared to earnings is very useful to know its profitability.
