PT4 v4.02 New Database - Importing Problem

Postby Galo7070 » Thu Jul 26, 2012 7:35 am

I used HM2, and PT4 Beta. Normally i have not problems to import. HM2 was usually a little more faster, but nothing important.

But after installing PT4 v 4.02 i can not import big amount of hands. I need to re-import 2.5 millions hands, but is importing at 10h/s or less it´s too slow.

I dont know if is something at postgres installation, or something new at v4.02

I have HM2 importing well, 115h/s , Could you help me? I need some tips to improve importing hands.

Thanks in advance,

There were some changes but nothing that should cut your speeds down that far. Can either of you give me a bit more information about what kinds of hands you have been playing most?

I'm playing mostly STT's hypers.

I've also found that since i've re-imported all my hands that the adjusted ROI has gone to -30% and i've run the auto-detection on it twice.

This is part of problem why I downgraded to version beta 21. Took forever and after having it complete (?) everything was super slow (just displaying results).

Couldn't spend any more then the 20 + hours on it and decided to wait and see with other imports, or if it was just my setup.

There will be a fix for a small ICM related bug coming in our next version, though for the most part those results should be accurate. If you have any tournaments that you think are giving incorrect data, please create a support ticket with the tournament for us - once we have an example we can determine if there is a problem and, if there is, fix it.

pt4,

Do you have an open ticket with logs showing slow results?

No, that was a .21 to .24 upgrade and I just did a major reset to get my poker client up and running again .

thought either my setup was terribly wrong or something else was going on. I mentioned it another post somewhere.

No reimport (we tried really, really hard to get all of those bugs out for 4.02), just a re-run of autodetect.
