Hand histories.

Hi,

I recently formatted my HD and I saved my pokertracker folder.

I try to open my database using the new computer but it cant seem to find the hand history database file.

Where can I manually add it to the PT database so it recognizes it?

Did you reinstall PT after you reformatted?
What is the exact error message it gives you when it opens?

I reinstalled PT.

When I try to view some hand history I get somehing saying "Unable to get #xxxxx hand history."

That error means the hand history file doesn't have the text of the hand histories in it. Did you copy back some database files after you reinstalled PT? You should have also copied back the file called hhdb.mdb which has this information in it.

Yes, I have that file but how do I make PT read it?

Open the Utilities > Database Maintenance and Options window. Click the Hand History DB's tab.
Add an entry here on this window to point to that hhdb.mdb file in whatever folder it's in now.

Done that, keep getting the same error.

What folder/file did you point it to?
What is the size of this file?

Is it giving this error with every hand?
Are you using Vista on this computer? If so, are you running PT as administrator? Does Vista prompt you to cancel/allow PT to run every time you try to start it?
