where can I find my created huds?

Postby arsl » Wed Aug 21, 2013 7:31 am

Good evening.
I caught a virus that removed almost all of the files from AppData/Local. Pt4 folder was removed too. I did a system restore, but my created hud dissapeared.
I just want to know, where can I find my created huds ? I tried to create new one, but I didn't find it in folders.

They're in %Appdata%/Local/PokerTracker 4/Data/ so you may have lost them. If you reinstall PT4 and they're not listed, it's very likely they're gone.

It's called Layouts.pt4 and it isn't created until you've changed something about the defaults.

Yes, but if you're reinstalling an entire system you're much better off using our backup system - via File -> Backup in PT4. That can backup your database and all of your optional files and put it in a single zip file that you can restore via File -> Restore. We try to help make it easier for you :)

thx a lot, but to backup 200gb database it is not easier than save a small folder :)

The backup ends up a lot smaller than the original database. Also you can backup just the additional files without the database in which case the backup file really will be quite tiny.
