Prima/Microgaming-Error message: "No new hands"

Postby osilow » Sun May 25, 2008 6:01 pm

Hello,

I'm having a problem with getting PT to work on my new PC. I'm using vista, hence i have checked the run as administrator boxes for both tracker and poker program. I have also installed the SQlite. I have added the gamehistory.dat file but when I click force download/start timer it says no new hands in database. Howcome? What should I do?

Thanks in advance!

Install the latest PATCH, the second download link here:
http://www.pokertracker.com/products/PTH/download.php
and try again.

Hi,

I have the same problem.
But my version is not newly installed and ive been using ver 2.17.02 for quite a while now.
Also im using XP.

The Prima/Ladbrokes import just stopped working.
When i start the import it imports all hands as error without registering them in the error log.
Then the timer fires again it always says "No new hands" even though hands are stilling ticking in.
It has been so since the 25th of may.

Br Rasmus.

On the Prima auto-import window, click the Configure Database Files button. On the next window, make a note of the folder location of the GameHistory.dat file that you are pointing PT to read from.

Close PT and the poker site. Go to this folder and rename the GameHistory.dat file to GameHistory_bad.dat. Then open the poker site software and play another hand. They should create a new GameHistory.dat file for you to continue to import from. Open PT and and the Prima auto-import window and you should be able to start importing again.

Hi,
I got the same problem with Doyles and that solution doesn't seem to fix it. I've tried renaming Gamehistory.dat twice and it does create a new file but then I get the same message no new hands. It does read the hands first time it checks new file but they don't get in to the database.
Thanks

Does it give you any error messages?
What version of PT2 are you using?

Sry, I hadn't read the thread very carefully and I'd assumed I was up to date with auto version checking. I just got 2.17.02 and working fine now, thanks.

I'm new to PT and haven't figured out how to auto import hands from microgaming. Is there a thread about that for the newbies somewhere?
Is it possible to import hands I've already played from microgaming?

Open the Getting Started link under the Help menu in PT and click the Prima/Ladbrokes link there for directions.
