Thoughts after importing a few HHs

Postby dray » Fri Feb 08, 2008 8:14 am

Imported a few hand histories/tournament summaries from $1 tournaments on Stars. Its difficult to know what is/isnt worth mentioning at this stage, but some initial thoughts:

1. It would appear that some Stars turbos arent being detected correctly. $1+$0.2 45man (regular speed) SNGs are correctly being displayed as "SnG (5 Table) No Limit" however their $1+$0.1 45man turbo equivalent are showing as "SnG (5 Table) N/A".

I dont see anything obvious in the hand histories/tournament summaries to show the difference between these, is this hardcoded internally?

In addition the rake for each turbo is being shown as 20c rather than 10c.

2. Time played is showing the total tournament duration (presumably from tournament summary) rather than the actual time *I* played from hand histories.

3. A number of tournament hand histories are showing: "Complete (xx hands, 0 errors, 1 duplicates). Im not sure how this is possible when these hands havent previously been imported. (ie with around 50 tournaments imported previously importing 48 previously unseen tournaments show this message 3 times: always showing as 1 duplicate).

4. FPP buyin tournaments show "Warning: Play money hands are not supported".

5. Hand histories for play money SNGs are being ignored, but tournament summaries are not. The only difference is that the buy-in/payout details dont contain the $ sign, for example:

PokerStars Tournament #76632235, No Limit Hold'em
Buy-In: 300/20
9 players
Total Prize Pool: 2700
etc

6. I assume this is probably on the to-do list, but there doesnt seem to be any way to remove tournaments from the DB after theyve been imported.

Tournament support is far from complete. If you could attach a few of those hand histories to a support ticket, and link back to this thread, it would be helpful.

Ok, tickets created where I could easily track down the relevant histories/summaries.
