pt3 v 12 causes system reboot

Postby Alcibadies » Mon Jun 02, 2008 6:26 pm

I just installed the beta version 12, release date 06/01/08. It is causing computer to keep rebooting. I'm using PT2 for now with no problems. Can I still get the previous version? It had issues but it did work for the most part. Thx.

I am also getting a BSOD and my laptop is rebooting. This only occurs when I start the HUD, about 10 seconds after I start the hud.
I tried the program on my second computer and it does not reboot that computer when I start the hud, although about 5 minutes into datamining, it says that the HUD had some sort of problem and needs to be restarted.

Please let us know what you want us to do so that we can help you solve the problem.

With the BSOD, I get the following entry into the event log: EventID 1003
Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 bf82c986, parameter3 baf0fbdc, parameter4 00000000.

I re-installed Build 2 and do not have the problem anymore.

Build 2 is still on the Download page.

You can re-install it, your registration key will still work.

I am having the same problem, every time that I start the HUD like 15 seconds later I get a blue screen and my system reboots.

I reinstalled the Build 2 and it works fine, like before... I have Windows XP installed on the computer, maybe it helps...

I enabled logging expecting another reboot yesterday, but it didn't happen again. In total it rebooted twice right after the initial installation and appeared stable thereafter.
