Copy a HUD Group

Postby TruFloridaGator » Wed Jun 11, 2008 12:23 pm

Is there a way to copy a group just so I can make some minor changes without doing a whole new one to use when I am playing less tables?

Apparently you can't switch between Hud Groups anyway without having them overlap...

Not yet, no - more editing features will be added.

I mean that if you create a second group, it also runs overlapped on any other groups, unless I'm missing something.

Do you mean visually on the poker table itself? Just right click -> drag it to where you want it if this is the case, then click on the pt3 icon on the table and click "save layout".

Yes, visually on the poker table itself. I don't want both on there. I want to be able to use one layout when I 6 table and another when I 4 table.

Thanks!

There's currently no way to do this, though I do plan on adding different profiles so you can do exactly what you want.

You could set up a workaround for this.
Create the layout that you want to use for 6 tabling and copy the c:\program files\pokertracker 3\data\layouts.pt3 file, call it "layouts.6table.pt3" or something.
Then edit the layout to your 4 table layout and save that, and take another copy of layouts.pt3.
Then when you want to play, copy whichever of the 2 you want to use. You may need to restart to get the layout to reload, I'm not sure.
