Hi all. Haven't been at the poker tables for 5-10 years. Getting back into it now and I am on a mac so I was pleased to find PT is now mac friendly as Poker Stars is - hooray!!

I have downloaded the free trial and will be buying after that. I can't find any installation/user guides for Mac users. Surely the process can't be the same as installing on windows? Can anyone nudge me in the right direction please, assuming there is a guide for new Mac users?

The interface is the same on both operating systems - all guides for how to use PT4 apply to both OS X and Windows.

On OS X all you do is run the installer and once OS X mounts the disk image, drag the PT4 icon into Applications (as you do for most installers). Then you can eject the image and run PT4 from Applications and it should do the rest.

The steps to configure Poker Stars for Mac OSx aren't working. The latest Poker Stars version for Mac is 7. I don't see an "options" tab in Poker Stars or any way to configure where hand history is stored. Poker Tracker doesn't think Poker Stars is installed but i have both Poker Stars and Full Tilt installed. Please help?

The option to save hand histories in PokerStars is under "Settings -> Playing History -> Hand History". You should also make sure that your PokerStars/Full Tilt installations are located in your Applications folder so if they are not please move them there.

That isn't how my Mac Pokerstars 7 looks. I have "Settings" but no "Playing History". Are you using the latest version? Does PT support Pokerstars on Mac?

My screenshot doesn't look like yours in the Configuration Guide. Do you have a screenshot of Pokerstars 7 for Mac?

I finally figured out that there is a difference between the ".net" app and the ".com" app. Only the ".com" app allows saving hand history in PokerStars.

Thanks for the update. If that option is not in the PokerStars.net version of the software then there unfortunately there will be no hand histories for PokerTracker 4 to import.
