Fatal error: more than one row returned by a subquery etc.

Postby dandandundee » Fri May 12, 2017 8:50 am

Hi there,

A few days ago my Pokertracker crashed when the memory on my Macbook Air got eaten up (happens quite often but I am changing laptops soon).

Upon starting it up again I got this message when trying to view my PokerStars stats. I only have stats for PokerStars and 888 but the 888 side is fine and working normally...

I have attached a screen shot of the message, can anyone offer help / solution?

Thanks

Dan

That looks like your database may have been damaged as a result of the crash while the database was active. You can try a reindex via the "Database > Database Management window" - to do that select the affected database, then click "Housekeeping > Reindex". After the housekeeping is complete you should click your database then "Rebuild Cache -> Full Cache Rebuild". Be prepared for this to take a considerable amount of time if you have a large database, so you'll want to run it when you're not using PokerTracker 4 for a while (such as overnight maybe). Make sure that your computer does not power itself off or go to sleep while it's running or you will need to run it again from the start.

Hi again,

I have tried this but nothing has changed and I'm still getting the same error message...does this mean the database is lost? Will I be able to create a new one?

Thanks,

Dan

If the reindex didn't repair the damage you can create a new database and reimport your hands. By default PokerTracker 4 moves your processed hand histories to your \PokerTracker 4\Processed folder which you can access via the "File -> Open User Data Folder" option.

To manually import hand histories from your hard disk select "Get Hands From Disk" after clicking "Play Poker". Choose "Select Directory" to import all of the hands found in a folder, or "Select Files" to only import specific hand history files that you choose. Depending on the number of hands you have this import may take some time. You therefore would want to schedule this to start at the most convenient time. In other words I would not start this import if you have important poker sessions coming up as you cannot import manually and use PokerTracker 4 on live tables at the same time. If required you can break the import up into smaller chunks/folders.

I do not understand exactly what your issue is so please take screenshots of both things you've mentioned above and attach them here or in a Support Ticket.

That looks like you do not have enough free space on your disk to complete the cache rebuild. How big is your database and how much free space do you have? It is ideal to have as much free space as the size of your largest database and Windows will be able to work more efficiently when you have a good amount of free disk space too.
