Villain to fold Preflop

Hello Guys,

im new on Pokertracker but enjoying this tool really a lot. Its fun to play arround and learn every day a little bit more. Right now im having a hard time to decide which stat would be the better one for my needs here.

So i play a lot of Sit and Goes and Tournaments, and in the later stages Blind Stealing is very important. So i thought it might be interesting to know, how often a Villain folds to a 2bet or 3bet to assum if i can push to steal the blinds or not.

So i found 1 stats which could fit, but im not sure, so id just like to confirm.

So the stat im looking for is Fold to any PF raise. Is that correct and usable for my needs?

If you 3bet then that's not a steal and you can only perform a steal from the CO, BTN or SB provided nobody has opened the pot before the action reaches you. For how often a player folds vs a steal you can use 'Fold To Steal' or 'Fold to LP Steal' statistics - the latter only counts vs raises from the CO/BTN. Using the 'Configure -> Statistics' menu option in PokerTracker 4 you can view descriptions and formulas for all the statistics. To find the stat you want you can use the 'Search' function in the Statistics window. Once the statistic is selected you can view a description and formula for it on the "Details" tab. You can also use it to search for all statistics with 'Steal' in the name.

You can also set those stats to a specific position by changing the 'Position' property in the 'Item Properties' tab at the top right of the HUD Profile Editor window. Select the stat you wish to configure and scroll down to where it says 'Position'. So if you wanted to do 'Fold To Steal' from the BB only you would select the 'Fold To Steal' stat, and change the 'Position' item property from 'All Positions' to 'Big Blind'. This works for any of the stats in our library for any of the 6 major positions (Early, Middle, Cutoff, Button, Small Blind, Big Blind). Also you can choose in or out of position with the 'Has Position' property for any Postflop stats.

Thank you very much for the fast and detailed answer! Helped me to understand a lot! Especially the information about the position is worth a lot and makes it way more flexible now! Thanks again! But i still think that this fold to any PF Raise stat could be very helpful as well, so ill just take both of them into my HUD
